Currently, Cupertino does not seem to have activated the feature yet. However, as soon as the setting takes effect, the subtle shimmering at the edges of many elements and apps should be a thing of the past. Without this shine, the liquid glass design appears significantly weaker, which should suit many users.
visionOS 26.3.1 eliminates annoying flickering
iOS 26.3.1 probably won’t be long in coming (see here). With the Vision Pro, Apple was apparently forced to act quickly and is already making the corresponding system update available for download: Both generations of the headset can now download visionOS 26.3.1. The current version addresses an annoying bug that caused annoyance when using the MultiView function: When streaming sporting events via the TV application, users had to endure annoying flickering.
Thanks to MultiView, users can display multiple video streams in parallel. With the recent start of the MLS season, Apple has almost certainly received some feedback regarding the bug – and responded quickly. Other bug fixes cannot be ruled out, although the update description only refers to the flickering problem.
