In short: Apple patent for textile display on the HomePod +++ Fitness+ with new programs, exclusive badges for January | News

If Apple were to introduce a HomePod with a display this year, it probably wouldn’t be a big surprise: such a device has been floating around the rumor mill for some time. But according to a new patent obtained by Apple, the company appears to be pursuing another idea that deviates from a traditional screen: HomePod’s fabric covering could emit light and thus display symbols and information.

Cupertino’s approach envisages the display of certain display elements, which are displayed directly in the fabric. Since Apple explicitly mentions a “voice-controlled speaker” with a possibly “cylindrical shape,” it seems reasonable to assume that the company is primarily interested in the HomePod in its traditional form. In fact, Apple reserves the right to use the technology in other products. A bracelet for the Apple Watch or a case for the iPhone with such a feature would be conceivable.

Four new training programs are now available to Fitness+ subscribers: Make Your Fitness Comeback combines strength training, HIIT and yoga. Build a Yoga Habit in 4 Weeks encourages two ten-minute exercises per week, during Back-to-Back Strength and HIIT HIIT and strength training combined. If you still have problems with the latter, you can use the program Strength Basics in 3 Weeks try, which is aimed at beginners.
Apple Watch owners will also receive a special award if they close all three activity rings for seven consecutive days in January:

Apple is also collaborating with the social network Strava. Their users have the opportunity to receive an exclusive badge for the Apple Watch in the app by successfully completing at least twelve training sessions in January.
