Siri appears brightly
The invitation graphics for the developer conferences sometimes contain allusions to features that will then be presented. This year’s WWDC is no exception, says Gurman: The flashing of the number “26” resembles Siri’s new look. The new user interface is integrated into the Dynamic Island. As soon as Siri is activated, a selection dialog appears: Users can then choose between “Search” and “Ask”. The cursor lights up like the number in the graphic.
Since the introduction of Apple Intelligence, a rainbow-colored border around the screen brings Siri to life. It is not clear from the Bloomberg journalist’s comments whether this animation will be completely obsolete.
Quickly undo homescreen changes
In recent years, Apple has gradually given users more options to customize their home screen. App icons can now be placed fairly freely and users can use interactive widgets. According to Gurman, the company is testing another improvement for iOS 27: the two options “Undo” and “Redo” are added to the menu for editing the home screen.
This menu is planned to be expanded for iOS 27
It is unclear how many changes can be reverted. Incidentally, Apple also seems to be addressing the criticism of Liquid Glass: Gurman previously drew attention to a slider in iOS 27 to configure the transparency of the elements.
