Rumors suggest that the Pixel series will increase the storage size of the base models to 256 GB this year. The currently available models 10 and 10 Pro still have 128 GB of permanent memory in their basic configuration. On the other hand, there is a price increase across the entire model range: the 11 series models will cost around 100 euros more than their predecessors. The reason is increased prices for essential components such as chips, RAM and storage. Apple has already announced a similar change and made it for many products (with the exception of the iPhone).

In the company’s own store, Google presents the current Pixel 10 models with discounts: The Pixel 10, for example, has a “usual retail price” of 899 euros, which is reduced to 779 euros by default. Google is currently offering the device for 649 euros. At the same time, it is available on Amazon for 549 euros. Google offers the Pixel 10 Fold for 1,499 euros; It can now be purchased from Amazon starting at 1,443.76 euros – but then with 512 GB of storage.
