Executives leave: What’s going on at the energy startup Enter?

Enter founders Max Schroeren, Justus Menten and Alexander Müller.

It was this LinkedIn post four weeks ago that struck a chord with some Enter employees: “Most important: we celebrate our wins together 🍾🎉,” wrote the energy consulting startup over three photos: a lecture, a cake and a chip buffet with a few Piccolo bottles of champagne. “Enter is on the move. New initiatives, big opportunities, and topics that will push us forward as a team. (…) The months ahead? Intense, motivating, and full of possibilities.”

“A failed promise”

The post is “a false promise,” says a former employee to Gründerszene. There is currently little to celebrate at Enter. After two waves of layoffs – the last in June of this year – numerous employees have now resigned voluntarily.

Another employee reported in an interview with Gründerszene that the tech team had shrunk from around 40 people in the spring to around twelve currently. This corresponds to a loss of around two thirds.

When we asked repeatedly, management neither wanted to confirm these figures nor denied them.
