Cook praises high demand
Tim Cook announced on Theoretically, this could of course also be due to the MacBook Air M5 or the MacBook Pro with M5 Max/Pro, but the reason for the rush of customers can most likely be found in the MacBook Neo. Even before the official presentation, market experts confirmed that a cheap Apple notebook had great potential to penetrate markets that had previously been less targeted. That seems to be the case with Tim Cook’s emphasis on “first-time buyers” – those customers once referred to as “switchers.”
Target group: new customers
Apple is currently broadcasting a lot of advertising for the MacBook Neo and is emphasizing the price more than is usual for the company. Anyone who, despite general interest, has previously been of the opinion that Apple computers are too expensive across the board should therefore pay particular attention to the advertising messages. The delivery times for the MacBook Neo have increased significantly in some cases and are up to four weeks – this is also an indication of how popular the cheapest notebook in Apple’s history is to date. There will be more concrete information about performance at the next quarterly conference at the end of April or beginning of May, when Apple will at least state the sales of the entire Mac division.
