Global Enginnering Services is seeking a CNC Operator and Programmer for its Rawalpindi operations. The role combines CNC machine setup and operation with program preparation and adjustment to support accurate, efficient production. The successful candidate will follow engineering drawings, work instructions, and quality requirements while maintaining safe and orderly equipment operation.
Responsibilities include:
- Set up, operate, and monitor CNC machines for production runs, selecting appropriate tools and workholding.
- Create, load, and modify CNC programs based on engineering drawings, dimensions, and production needs.
- Interpret technical drawings and specifications, and verify machine settings before starting jobs.
- Measure finished components with suitable inspection tools and make adjustments to maintain required tolerances.
- Identify machining issues, troubleshoot routine faults, and coordinate maintenance when needed.
- Maintain production records, report material or quality concerns, and follow workplace safety procedures.
- Keep machines, tools, and the work area clean and organized.
