Alicia Keys with an unexpected concert
Apple would like to celebrate its 50th company anniversary appropriately. To kick things off, R&B and soul singer Alicia Keys gave an unexpected concert in front of the Apple Store in the aforementioned train station: she presented a selection of her songs to the assembled audience.
Four high-ranking representatives of the group were also present: In addition to the hardware boss and possible CEO successor John Ternus, Greg Joswiak (Marketing) and Deirdre O’Brien (Retail) also graced the event. Tim Cook was also there. Keys unsurprisingly attracted a large audience, although Apple only informed selected YouTubers and media representatives of the event – and did not mention that it was a concert.
More events worldwide will follow
The singer seems to be loyal to the company: in 2016 she performed at the Apple Music Festival 10 in London and in 2022 she appeared at the NYC Holiday Masquerade Ball. She is also one of the first artists to come up with a format prepared for the Vision Pro (Alicia Keys: Rehearsal Room). Cupertino announced that more events will follow in the coming weeks. It is not known what exactly the group has come up with, but the events take place in various places around the world. Apple wants to show “what remarkable achievements people are capable of” when they rely on the company’s products.
