Swedish vibe coding startup Lovable, valued at $6.6 billion, has continued to accelerate its already rapid growth in recent months – even as Anthropic’s Claude Code went viral.

The company reports that its Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) increased more than 30 percent in a single month – from $300 million to $400 million. By year’s end, the value could even reach over $1 billion, said Lovable’s Chief Revenue Officer Ryan Meadows in an interview with Business Insider. ARR refers to the predictable revenue a company expects to generate over a year from subscriptions or recurring contracts.

Sales are growing rapidly

Lovable’s strong growth comes amid a general boom in AI-powered coding tools. In addition to Claude Code, this also includes the startup Cursor, which was recently valued at almost $30 billion. At the end of 2025, Cursor declared that it had already reached one billion dollars in annualized sales.

These three letters dominate the startup world right now: ARR

Lovable launched in late 2024 and reached $100 million ARR just eight months later. By the end of 2025, this value had already doubled to $200 million.

Programming without a programmer

Vibe Coding enables even people with little programming experience to create code using AI. Lovable, founded by Anton Osika and Fabian Hedin, wants to make programming even more accessible and enable non-engineers to develop software and applications. A December funding round led by CapitalG and Menlo Ventures’ Anthology fund valued the company at $6.6 billion.

“Growth is accelerating significantly,” Meadows said. “In the last few months alone, the number of daily active users has doubled.” According to Meadows, Lovable now has more than 15 million daily active users. Around 200,000 new vibe coding projects are created on the platform every day.

Growth in the enterprise business

The majority of Lovable users continue to be non-technical founders and entrepreneurs. However, the company is seeing the fastest growth in its enterprise business, which only launched in August.

Anthropic is more of a partner than a competitor.

Collaboration with Anthropic

Lovable’s recent growth spurt began after the release of Claude Code. However, according to Meadows, this hasn’t resulted in a loss of market share because many customers use both tools. Professional software developers and engineering teams are more likely to use Claude, while non-technical employees prefer Lovable.

“It lifts the entire market,” he said. “We’re very happy with what we’re seeing right now.”

New offices and lots of hiring

Lovable is itself based on Claude, and when Anthropic launched its new marketplace this week, Lovable was prominently featured there.

“They are very interested in generating business with us,” Meadows said. “We will continue to invest in this partnership.”

Team is growing strongly

Lovable hit $400 million ARR with a comparatively small team of just 146 employees, Meadows said. This year, the company is planning a big wave of hiring, especially in the product and engineering areas. The team is expected to grow to around 350 employees by the end of the year.

While the engineering team will remain in Stockholm, Lovable is opening its first US office in Boston this year for go-to-market roles.

“We can’t hire fast enough,” Meadows said.
