Some CEOs may feel the need to be in several places at the same time and to intervene in the activities of a company. Mark Zuckerberg is likely to have a similar experience: According to a report in the Financial Times, Meta is currently trying to create an AI avatar of its CEO. This person would then actually be able to appear in many different places at the same time and provide employees with advice and support. In general, Meta is trying to redesign many workflows with AI. Zuckerberg clone is available to employees
Meta is working on developing photorealistic, AI-powered 3D characters capable of interacting with users in real time, according to four people familiar with the matter. The priority is on creating an avatar of the CEO: Mark Zuckerberg himself is involved in the training and testing of his animated AI representation. The 3D figure is trained to capture Zuckerberg’s peculiarities. It also reflects his public statements and recent reflections on corporate strategy. The goal is for the meta employees to feel closer to their CEO through possible interaction with a Zuckerberg clone. The project is still at an early stage.
Meta realignment planned
Another idea envisages an AI agent from Zuckerberg that is not available to employees, but to himself. For example, it could help the meta boss quickly access important information. According to the Financial Times, Meta is about realigning the group using AI. The development of 3D characters is one building block among many. Zuckerberg is working intensively on this new direction: The CEO spends five to ten hours a week programming various AI tools in the company and taking part in technical evaluations.
