Scalar
+++ A digital tax advisor! The Munich-based company skalar wants to establish itself as a “Germany-wide tax law firm for companies”. The motto is: “Digital. Proactive. Simple”. Tax consultant Florian Lang and Stocard founder Björn Goß (100 million exit to Klarna) are behind TaxTech, founded in 2025. The team shares the idea: “At skalar we combine tax expertise with cutting-edge technology. We are redefining how tax services are provided today. Our goal: the most client-friendly tax advice for companies.” skalar’s target group are companies with a turnover between 500,000 euros and 20 million euros. “The prerequisite for cooperation is that we are responsible for financial accounting. Why? Because we have your back and can deliver annual financial statements in record time,” says the young company. In addition to the young AI investor futurepresent, skalar’s investors also include studydrive founder, Sven Gasper, serial founder Jonas Diezun and soccer world champion Mario Götze. Kewazo
+++ StartupsToWatch: Kewazo. The company, founded in 2018 and based in Munich and Houston (Texas), which digitizes the construction industry with the help of robotics and data analysis, has raised around $35 million in recent years. Investors include Schooner Capital, Chevron Technology Ventures, Fifth Wall, Cybernetix Ventures, Unorthodox Ventures and MIG Capital. So far, the young company has focused on scaffolding construction with the robotic freight elevator Liftbot, thus automating material transport. “Liftbot is already deployed at major industrial sites across North America and Europe, replacing cranes and manual handling during maintenance, turnarounds, and capital projects,” says the team about the current status. Lanch
+++ Number check! The Berlin ghost kitchen startup Lanch presents its annual financial statements for 2024. As a reminder: The London investor Felix Capital and the Munich financier HV Capital recently invested 26 million euros in the company, which relies on food brands with support from influencers. By the end of 2024, the team had raised around 30 million euros. The young delivery service includes brands such as Happy Slice, Happy Chips and Loco Chicken. The development of Lanch, founded in 2023 by Nono Konopka and Jonas Meynert, has so far been quite expensive. The annual deficit for 2024 was a generous 14.4 million (previous year: 2.8 million). Unfortunately, the annual financial statements don’t reveal much more. More about Lanch
