Qdrant
+++ The French DeepTech investor AVP, Bosch Ventures, Unusual Ventures, Spark Capital and 42CAP are investing $50 million in Qdrant. The Berlin company, founded in 2021 by Andre Zayarni and Andrey Vasnetsov, is developing an open source vector search engine. “With Qdrant, embeddings or neural network encoders can be turned into full-fledged applications for matching, searching, recommending, and much more,” it says about the concept. Companies like Tripadvisor, HubSpot and Bosch already rely on Qdrant. Spark Capital, Unusual Ventures and 42CAP recently invested $28 million in the company. In total, over 85 million have already flowed into Qdrant. The US investor Unusual Ventures most recently held 18.2% of the company. 42CAP from Munich recently accounted for 16.5%. More about Qdrant
Airmo
+++ Ananda Impact Ventures, Unconventional Ventures, kopa ventures, Desai Ventures, Hypernova / New Venture Securities, Matthias Fackler and Francesco Starache as well as the existing investors Antler, Findus Ventures, E2MC and Pilabs are investing 5 million euros in Airmo. Climate and SpaceTech from Weßling, founded by Daria Stepanova and Pavels Razmajevs, is concerned with measuring CO2 emissions from space. Findus Venture, Ananda Impact Ventures, Pi Labs, E2MC, Antler, serial founder Anna Alex, Rainer Horn and ESA previously invested 5.2 million euros in the young company. More about Airmo
heycare
+++ The Osnabrück early stage investor Scalehouse Capital and Swiss Post Ventures are investing around 4 million euros in heycare (formerly known as heynanny or heynannyly) in an “extended seed round”. The startup from Höchstadt, founded in 2022 by Anna Schneider and Julia Kahle, positions itself as a “platform for employee health, with a focus on mental health, physical well-being and family relief”. The fresh capital will be used in particular to expand the team. Companies like Daimler Truck, Douglas and Vaillant are already relying on the company. Scalehouse Capital now holds 6.2% of heycare. Swiss Post Ventures accounts for 4.7%. Previously, the team raised more than 1.6 million. More about heycare
Another Earth
+++ The Dublin early-stage investor Wake-Up Capital, Rockstart, Inovexus, Stamco, FFG Austrian Research Promotion Agency (FFG) and Austria Wirtschaftsservice (AWS) are investing 3.5 million euros in Another Earth. The Vienna-based SpaceTech, founded in 2024 by Maya Pindeus and Felix Geremus, develops AI-supported simulations and synthetic data for Earth observation. “This funding marks a pivotal moment for us – moving from deep technical R&D to commercial scaling,” says the team. Remi Health
+++ The Berlin financier IBB Ventures, Catalpa Ventures, MSD Global Health Innovation Fund and business angels such as Arend Lars Iven are investing 3 million in Remi Health. The company has already collected a total of 5 million. The HealthTech from Berlin, founded in 2021 by Marvin Abert, Anthony Bielenstein, André Lange and Philipp Henneberg, would like to establish itself as a “Diagnostics-as-a-Service platform”. The team writes about the idea: “Operating across multiple European markets, Remi Health partners with leading laboratories and combines decentralized collection, lab connectivity, regulatory compliance, medical oversight, and digital patient experiences into one scalable solution.” More about Remi Health
Neuramancer
+++ The Munich early-stage investor Vanagon Ventures, Bayern Kapital, ZOHO.VC, the family office Lightfield Equity and business angels are investing 1.7 million euros in Neuramancer (formerly Neuraforge). The startup from Rosenheim, founded in 2024 by Anika Gruner and Anatol Maier, is developing a proprietary deepfake detection technology. “Neuramancer’s forensic analysis reports clearly explain how and where media was manipulated and provide evidence for targeted fraud prevention,” says the concept.
