Travel: Maldives for five | Journalles

I am Jessie Weiß, 32 years old, married and living in Berlin, mother of Levi (1), pregnant with my second child and founder of Journelles. I love Phoebe Philo, Stella McCartney and Isabel Marant, I can’t walk in high heels for anatomical reasons, I have a Céline bag thing, I’m passionate about dancing and listening to hip hop, I can rarely resist irony, unfortunately I still don’t speak French, even though I think Paris is the most beautiful fashion city in the world, I love watching Jimmy Fallon, Jan Böhmermann, Game of Thrones or relaxing with a series marathon on Netflix, I’m a small person Workaholic with a talent for multitasking, professional Instagram scroller, clumsy in every situation, have a penchant for Scandinavian interiors and a pillow thing, am big on wellness and would therefore prefer to be a professional hotel tester. Fashion is my great love, but I tend to invest my money in travel and food – and recently almost exclusively in my child.

As an old blog lover – I co-founded LesMads in 2007 – my personal dream came true in October 2012: I started my own business with “Journelles”. The blogazine is my digital home, news platform, fashion diary and daily contact point for exciting content on the topics of interior, travel, beauty and both high fashion as well as contemporary labels and high street fashion.

I also moderated the fashion show It’s Fashion on ARD’s EinsPlus, advise companies in the social media sector, give lectures and travel around the world to present you the most beautiful content every day. In June 2015 I launched my own fashion label JOUUR. founded.

My son Levi was born in 2016. Since then, baby topics have been covered on Mini Journelles and now more intensively now that our second child is on the way.

Journelles has now grown: We are a six-person editorial team in Berlin’s Prenzlauer Berg and opened our first temporary concept store, the Journelles Marché, in the summer of 2018.

My credo: Fashion has to be fun, work on an equal level and shouldn’t take itself too seriously.
