Favorite Finds: Time for a vacation in your head!

Again I wanted to write so much and tell you and share so much and everything and then the next daycare event came, the next deadline for a customer and the school holidays came like crazy. Then the most wonderful vacation in Italy followed and hey presto it was already August. I don’t want to complain at all, no, no. It’s probably the first time in my life that I can really enjoy all of these things in my life and give them space, which is great, and yet I almost feel guilty because so much is left behind. Especially this place. So I vow to continue to improve and am really looking forward to autumn with hopefully lots of wild plans and big adventures. You know, it really tickles our fingers.

Where it really tickles too much? In my stomach when I think of very special pieces that I want to treat myself to again after what feels like an eternity, that extend the vacation, so to speak. Especially with the local weather forecasts. I actually really feel like dressing myself up again and decorating myself with beautiful special features. And maybe I found a really great selection of pretty creations. Do you want to see?

I got the Sarah shirt from Second country ordered and can hardly wait to get my third blouse from the upcycling brand from Budapest. Rarely has a sustainable label made me so happy. The Mara shirt in white and checked is one of my favorites, you can find the pink version here:

A bikini also came from ACK from the sale into my shopping cart and I’m keeping my fingers crossed that the first new bikini in two years will fit. There was only one size left in stock!

A blue flower already adorns my hair thanks to Nike, now new colors have been introduced CaroEditions launched. And I’ll be honest: if the rose-sized hair crabs weren’t so incredibly expensive, I would probably have them in all colors. But especially in pink!

This bikini from La Veste Unfortunately, I only found it after my summer vacation. Too bad, it would have fit perfectly in Italy!

Bolsita Bags – hand-knotted bags from Paulusschkaa Studios

Our favorite crochet artist Pauline aka Paulusschkaa has teamed up with a Mexican artisan business and handcrafted them BOLSITA Bags designed that could easily move into our homes: First and foremost grandeBOLSITAthe largest bag in its range in the fabulous colors orange and purple. On top of that, every bag purchase comes with a hand-knotted pendant. So good, dear Pauline!

Carhartt WIP

The last time I was in one was probably a good 15 years ago Carhartt WIP Store and when I look at the current lookbook for the coming season I just ask myself why I didn’t stop by again beforehand? There’s a bit of nostalgia and melancholy here, but certainly also a feeling of a lot of relaxed roadworthiness. Let’s join in and visit the newly opened store in Berlin right away!

For the minis: Mini Rodini x Wrangler

I have a weakness for bird prints, unfortunately they are so rarely available in beautiful versions for adults. So the kids can take them out – and from today also in the limited version of Mini Rodini x Wrangler:

The collection is made from 100% GOTS-certified cotton and includes embroidered denim jackets, vests and flared jeans in a 70s look as well as dungarees and tie-dye prints. All pieces in the collection are adorned with Mini Rodini’s “Peace Dove,” which designer Cassandra Rhodin first designed in 2008. As a Wrangler fan from the very beginning, Cassandra Rhodin, founder & creative director of Mini Rodini, not only designed the entire collection, but also shot the campaign and lookbook herself.

Mini Rodini x Wrangler is in from August 2nd Available at all Mini Rodini stores and shop-in-shops, as well as online at Minirodini.com and Wrangler.com.
