Mallorca has long since made the leap from being a pure summer classic to becoming a year-round hotspot for connoisseurs, design lovers and luxury travelers. I travel to Mallorca for you every year. In June I was in Mallorca and discovered new hotspots for you.

Zafiro Palace Hotel Andratx
Just 25 minutes from Palma, the five-star Hotel Zafiro Palace Andratx rises above the valley of Camp de Mar, one of the most exclusive regions of Mallorca.
This luxurious all-inclusive resort has 304 exclusive suites, from junior to the huge owner suite with up to 194 square meters of living space. All suites offer spacious terraces with plunge pools or whirlpools – many with panoramic sea or mountain views.

Zafiro Club guests enjoy their own micro-resort with exclusive pool area, separate food truck, expanded minibar service, premium toiletries and private concierge. The additional charge for this upgrade costs approximately 60 euros per night.
I was able to stay in a Club Member Suite, these large suites are located in the quietest part of the resort. Wonderfully quiet with lots of space and a bouquet of flowers and a welcome gift.

A total of eight restaurants with different designs, menus and atmospheric flair pamper hotel guests in the all-inclusive resort. Seven pools – two indoor, five outdoor – including an exclusive adults-only pool with Bali beds and island views. Just a few steps from the hotel is the renowned Andratx golf course.
The Zafiro Palace Andratx is a model resort for travelers who place the highest value on style, enjoyment and individual relaxation. It combines stylish elegance with great diversity – suites with pools, culinary highlights and wellness for body and mind. The location is quiet. It is only a few minutes walk to the Camp de Mar beach.

Hotel Gran Meliá Victoria Palma – The urban luxury hotel at the marina
This historic luxury hotel was founded and converted in 1912 as Villa Victoria.
It is located on the magnificent Paseo Maritimo promenade at the marina and is one of the most elegant addresses in Palma. The classic 5-star hotel was extensively renovated in 2025 and combines old glamor era with stylish, modern design.
The noble house has 171 rooms and suites in seven categories – from the classic room to the grand suite with 102 square meters, whirlpool and private terrace with a view of the cathedral.

My highlight was the large terrace. The view of Palma’s marina is beautiful and captivating. The restaurant is also located here. Breakfast and lunch with a view in the Grand Café.

The Hotel Victoria is the perfect location for all travelers who want to explore Palma on foot. All sights, the old town, the castle or the cathedral can be reached on foot. Anyone interested in the Lio can be happy, it’s right next to it. (The Lio is a spectacular variety show & dinner club concept. It combines gourmet dining and live cabaret shows in an ambience full of elegance.)

Riva Lounge Mallorca
The exclusive Riva Lounge Mallorca was opened on May 15, 2025 in the renowned Hotel de Mar Gran Meliá above the Bay of Illetas.
Mallorca has many beautiful places – but only a few feel Italian. Here, maritime aesthetics meet relaxed luxury, paired with an unmistakable touch of the Italian way of life. The Riva Lounge feels like a short vacation on a noble yacht. Warm woods, shiny metal and elegant shapes are reminiscent of the classic Riva boats. Everything is well thought out, but still relaxed. The perfect place for an aperitif, sundowner and dinner with a view of the hotel’s Alberta Ferretti Beach Club and the sea.
