15 projects, 150,000 euros in funding: KölnBusiness is once again supporting innovative companies from Cologne this year. The selected projects include several startups from the areas of AI, HealthTech, ClimateTech and energy transition.
The winners of the Cologne frame One thing is certain: This year, KölnBusiness is supporting 15 innovation projects with a total of 150,000 euros. The selected projects (including some young companies that we have already presented in detail) deal with, among other things, artificial intelligence, digital health, circular economy, energy transition and sustainable production.
Among the selected companies are OnqoHealth (AI support for tumor boards), Zentras Systems (Voice AI for surgical documentation), Sacred Valley Tech (digital product passports for the circular economy), Carbon Minds (digital learning platform for life cycle assessments), Wavelr (AI for energy projects), Gridty (digital twin for refrigeration systems), Luure (AI-supported construction site documentation), Drought analytics (smart irrigation), H2ALL (software for hydrogen projects), LeadRealizer (AI lead scoring) and Venue flow (event management software).
In addition, they also receive Practice Knoopthe environmental service provider Interzerothe sorting technology specialist Steinert as well as the lighting manufacturer less’n’more a promotion.
With the Cologne Framework, KölnBusiness supports innovative digital and sustainable projects from companies in Cologne every year. Grants of up to 10,000 euros are possible per project.
Previous funding projects from the Cologne framework include Holy Shit, Hydrofarms and Hey Grün. The companies exemplify the program’s focus on digital and sustainable innovations – from resource-saving sanitary technology to vertical farming to the digitalization of green roofs.
